Yesterday we were blessed with the opportunity to return to Pomme Mountain to worship with the church there. While on Pomme we were also able to distribute more shoes from the shoe that grows, as well as feed over 60 children after the service.
Perhaps the most empowering part of our time at L’eglize De Pomme was how we were so warmly invited in to be a part of that church. When we are abroad it is so easy to focus on how we serve the people we are with, and in doing so we often forget our own needs.
In his message, Pastor Lionel spoke of how we can let the love of God grow in each of us, and that through prayer we allow God’s love to be cultivated in our hearts. I am grateful for this, how God loves us, engages with us, and invites us into His plan. I am grateful for Pastor Lionel’s words, which permeated my very soul. I am grateful for the invitation to engage the heart of our Heavenly Father with the people of Pomme Mountain, to partake in praise and worship, and to bear witness to the unconfined joy of praying and worshipping together.
