At Beehive Global Collective, our goal is to engage with the next wave of mission work.

We create long-term partnerships with nationally-led organizations to better their communities in ways that only they are able to by helping fund sustainable projects. We want to go beyond the short-term here and now. We want to foster growth within each community that continues, even while we aren’t there. We engage communities of high impact. We see the need for long term missions, and help support those operating abroad. We seek to empower parts of the world that have been overlooked by some. We empower national organizations seeking to impact their communities and come alongside to help them farther what they have already started. We desire to engage national partners and give them every tool possible to empower their community.

In short, we search the globe to find people and organizations already serving Christ, and others in their community to provide an avenue of fundraising on their behalf that continues to support projects of sustainable high impact.

Mat Luce

Founder and Executive Director

For as long as he can remember, Mat Luce has had a passion for international missions. While serving on a community development project in southern Kenya for a year, Mat realized that this passion was a life calling, one that has now come full circle with the foundation of Beehive Global Collective.

Mat graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South with a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Languages. Since graduating from Sewanee, Mat has accumulated over ten years of experience in the philanthropic sector, both as a fundraiser and grant writer, as well as working hand in hand with non profits and national organizations around the world.

Mat worked as the Director of Outreach and Development for The Tabernacle in Buckley, Michigan, for two years before leaving to found Beehive Global Collective. During this time, he aided in the startup of a local food pantry, raised support for a new building, coordinated ministry efforts for para-church organizations in northern Michigan, and provided support for missions teams, both at home and abroad.

When not in the office or abroad, Mat enjoys fishing, particularly hunting for the ever elusive redfish off the coast of Florida, reading and writing and roasting his own coffee. Mat and his wife Iris have one child, Vera Ruth, who is the light of their lives. Most afternoons both Mat and Iris can be found playing in the yard with Vera Ruth, hunting for frogs and flowers, or taking long walks together.
