A Vehicle for Ministry, A Match for Impact

The road before us

We have an open door to equip our team with a mission tool that will serve us now and for years to come: a reliable field vehicle. In the near term, it lets Rev. David bring his family more often, linger longer on the ground, and keep a steady rhythm through a growing circuit of “little fire” churches—our own Pauline route across Marsabit.

Many of you know Rev. David Parmuat. David shows up. He disciples people and builds simple systems that last. He also starts close to home. Years ago in Nairobi, a humble “buy a brick” WhatsApp effort raised a church one gift at a time. David invites partnership. He does not outsource responsibility.

Why a reliable vehicle matters out here

A reliable vehicle is not a luxury in Northern Kenya. It is the difference between reaching a village by sunset or sleeping on the road. When a truck is dependable, it carries hope across hours of corrugation and heat without complaint. When it is not, the team spends precious time and energy nursing breakdowns, rerouting around impassable stretches, and burning budget on repeated repairs instead of ministry. On our desert runs, the vehicle is our lifeline.

Think circuit riders from the Wesleyan movement—pastors on the move, returning again and again. Across our “little fire” circuit, this vehicle is the horse under a modern circuit rider. It also positions David to return to Lake Turkana with Peter LeKombe as early as February 2026 to continue discipling the El Molo.

On the El Molo run to Lake Turkana, we swapped belts and hoses, packed twin spares, extra fuel and air filters, and a full tool kit — before we even left Olderkesi. For a fuller picture of the prep, see The El Molo Expedition.

The project: a field‑ready vehicle

Northern Kenya is vast, beautiful, and hard on equipment. After years of service, our current project vehicle is losing access to the routes we must travel. David saw the horizon and began raising support, rallying local giving with a November event in Olderkesi. We are coming alongside to accelerate the effort and honor local hospitality.

The need, plain and urgent

  • Reach: Reliable travel to dispersed “little fire” churches across Marsabit County.
  • Terrain: Repeated runs into the northern desert exceed the current vehicle’s limits.
  • Mission: Reopen El Molo access in 2026 and sustain steady pastoral presence among Samburu and Rendille.
  • Family: A dedicated vehicle lets David’s family join him more often, lengthening stays and strengthening leadership.

Your gift, doubled: $10,000 match

Every dollar given from Sept. 25 through Nov. 1 will be matched up to $10,000. Give $100, and $200 reaches the field. The match lowers net cost and brings the right vehicle within reach faster.

A Proven Partnership: initiative and stewardship

Since our founding, we have partnered with those who make disciples and manage resources wisely. David exemplifies this standard. Early on, he raised funds locally for major Marsabit projects instead of depending on Western support. The Nairobi church build stands as a perfect example—over just three months, David led a WhatsApp “buy a brick” campaign that completed the project. His approach was clear then and remains so today: David welcomes our partnership but never shifts responsibility.

Rev. David represents exactly what we look for at Beehive Global Collective: a discipling presence combined with financial responsibility and leadership initiative. A new ministry vehicle will extend his reach throughout Northern Kenya, and a generous supporter has offered a $10,000 matching gift to help make this possible faster.

IMPACT • EMPOWER • MULTIPLY

From one man He made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and He marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from any one of us. Acts 17:26-27
